Birchfield Harriers is one of the UK's most storied athletics clubs, founded in 1877 and based at the Alexander Stadium in Perry Barr, Birmingham. The club welcomes members of all ages across every discipline, from track and field to road and cross-country, and has produced numerous international athletes including recent European Championship competitors. Club nights run on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at the stadium, with a junior academy pathway for young athletes. It suits anyone from beginners joining introduction sessions through to athletes competing at national and international level.
Membership year runs 1 April to 31 March; fees paid annually and training fees by direct debit before attending sessions. Junior members must join the academy or a training group before completing membership. Non-payment means no England Athletics registration and loss of competition eligibility.
