About Tyne Bridge Harriers
Tyne Bridge Harriers is one of Newcastle's biggest running clubs, formed in 2011 and now around 400 members strong with ages ranging from 8 to 80. The club trains from East End Pool in Byker on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, with additional track sessions on Saturday mornings. Five ability-banded training groups cover everyone from runners chasing a first sub-30 5K to competitive athletes racing for podiums. Prospective members can try a free session before joining, and membership includes England Athletics affiliation.
Good to know
Membership year runs 1 April to 31 March. New members must attend training sessions before completing the membership form; joining registers you with England Athletics. Concessionary rate for full-time students, seniors over 65, those on means-tested benefits, distant/social members and members returning after having a baby. Fees may be reduced or waived in cases of financial hardship.
