About This Girl Can Newcastle Running Group
This Girl Can Newcastle Running Group is a free women-only social running group set up as part of the This Girl Can Newcastle campaign, run through England Athletics' group platform. The group meets on Monday evenings from 6pm to 7pm outside Newcastle Civic Centre in the city centre, excluding bank holidays. Runs are led by trained run leaders, cover varying paces and are deliberately relaxed, with no one left behind. It is aimed at women who have finished a Couch to 5K or similar programme and want a supportive group to keep running regularly.
Good to know
Women only. Free to attend, but places are limited and must be booked in advance; runners are asked to cancel their booking if they cannot attend. No sessions on bank holidays.
