About Highgate Harriers
Founded in 1879, Highgate Harriers is a traditional athletics club that styles itself London's premier athletics club, welcoming runners, throwers and jumpers. The club is based at Parliament Hill Athletics Track on Hampstead Heath, with adult running sessions on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7:00pm to 8:15pm and a Saturday 9:00am session. Membership covers track access on club nights plus club events and open meets, with groups spanning endurance, sprints, middle distance, jumps and throws, including women-only distance groups. It suits athletes who want structured, coached training and competition within a historic North London club, and prospective members can book a trial session before joining.
