Victoria Park Harriers & Tower Hamlets AC is a friendly East London running and athletics club whose members range from absolute beginners to world-class athletes. Its clubhouse at St Augustine's Hall on Cadogan Terrace sits right by Victoria Park on the Hackney side, hosting Thursday evening group runs, Monday circuit training, gym sessions and Sunday morning member-led runs. Interval and track work takes place at the London Marathon Community Track in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on Tuesdays, with sprints, hurdles and jumps coaching at Mile End Stadium, and an active junior section. It suits East Londoners wanting anything from sociable park runs to serious road, cross country and track and field competition.

Free two-week trial after submitting an application form. Seniors clubhouse membership £10/month; concessions £5/month; second claim £3/month; juniors (16 and under) £40/year including a parent/carer. Parents expected to attend with children under 11; children under 9 not encouraged.
