About Portobello Running Club

Formed in 1984 by a group of women who decided to run the Portobello Promenade together, the club now covers cross country, road, hill and ultra running and is affiliated with Scottish Athletics. Coached sessions run every Wednesday: from Tribe Porty at 18:30 in winter, moving to Holyrood Park from April to October for hill work on Arthur's Seat in three ability groups.
