About Carnethy Hill Running Club

Scotland's largest hill running club with over 600 members and one of the leading hill clubs in the UK. Midweek training runs happen Tuesdays to Thursdays, with the classic Wednesday evening hill run in the Pentlands (swapped for themed night runs around Edinburgh in the darker months). A "slow Pentlands" option walks the climbs and regroups regularly, so newcomers to hill running are not left behind.

Good to know

Almost all running is off-road on tracks, trods and bog — expect at least one hill.
