About Glasgow FrontRunners
Glasgow FrontRunners is an award-winning, inclusive running club for LGBTQIA+ people and their allies, described as Scotland's largest LGBTQIA+ focused sports club with over 300 members. Group runs leave The ARC at Glasgow Caledonian University on Thursday evenings (5km, 7.5km and 10km options) and Sunday mornings (up to 15km), with paced groups so no one is left behind. Members also get Tuesday coached track sessions led by UK Athletics accredited coaches, open to anyone who can run 5km non-stop. Newcomers can try the club four times for free through its run4free scheme before joining, and the club runs charity events including the Red Run and Rainbow Relay.
Good to know
Members must be over 18. Concessionary membership requires being a student, unemployed, or over 65. Newcomers may attend four runs free before taking out membership; Tuesday coaching is members-only.
